Board of Directors
Sojourner Truth House’s Board of Directors is looking to create strong relationships with those eager to make a meaningful impact in the community. Through leadership opportunities such as volunteerism and fundraising events, members are strongly connected to the mission of Sojourner Truth House and aid in promoting overall support.
Typical Board Member Expectations:
- The following reflects the general structure and expectations of board service
- Meeting Attendance: Participation in at least 75% of scheduled board meetings annually (a mix of virtual and in-person)
- Committee Service: Service on at least one committee
- Time Commitment: Approximately 8–10 hours per month
- Compensation: Board service is voluntary and unpaid
- Board Structure: Up to 21 members total; Executive leadership includes President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Directors
Impact Committees
