Womenade

In 2003, Susan Cohen initiated our first Womenade event with the goal of bringing together local women in an atmosphere of generosity and hospitality to assist Sojourner Truth House – women helping women. To date, Womenade events have brought in more than $33,000 for Sojourner Truth House, cultivating hundreds of new friendships and building awareness of the impact STH has in the community. These get-togethers can be hosted by either an individual or group; events can be scheduled during the day or in the evening. Invitees are asked to bring hors d'oeuvres to share as well as a financial contribution. It is a great way to get to know others in Northwest Indiana, have fun, and support a great cause.
