Sojourner Truth House relies on the talents of our volunteers to help continue our mission. These invaluable members of our team act as receptionists, babysitters and interviewers. They are present in our food pantry, assist in our clothes closet, help maintain our grounds and so much more.
Our volunteers are diverse in background, but unite under the shared philosophy of caring and a commitment to treat all with dignity. If you have a desire to make a lasting impact on your community, volunteering at Sojourner Truth House is a perfect opportunity to do just that.
Volunteer opportunities include Clothes Closet Attendant, Babysitter, Interviewer, Computer trainer, Receptionist, Office assistant, Grounds/maintenance person, Driver, Lunch preparer, Furniture mover, Data base entry, and MUCH MORE!
